Super Bowl XLII Tour Day 5
Our final day, and we feel truly privileged to look out of our rooms this morning and see the sun rise over the Grand Canyon - our unanimous verdict is that everybody must see this once. After a quick breakfast we went to the tiny airport, just 5 miles away, for our helicopter flight over the Canyon itself. As you can see from the footage, the snow made the whole spectacle even more breathtaking. Another big WOW. For the second time during this trip, James overcame his fear of heights, and STT is pleased to report that he no longer needs to attend therapy!! The rest of the day was spent walking on the Canyon rim, visiting the numerous lookout points, taking lots of amazing photos, and reflecting on how much better one feels after a good holiday (it's true!!). As always, nobody wanted to go home and back to work (boohoo), especially after such a great tour, but all good things must come to an end. So, for now, a big "thank-you" from Andy and James for everybody's good humour, participation and appreciation during the tour - "you were great". Enjoy the off season (Well, as much as you can without football!), and we'll see you again in September for the 2008 NFL programme.
