Q: What time am I expected to arrive?
A: As we include a Pit Walk on Thursday afternoon, we advise you to select a flight that arrives into Austin or San Antonio no later than 12.30pm
Q: What airports are the transfers provided from?
A: Our tour hosts collect you from either San Antonio or Austin, simply let us know your flight details at least 4 weeks prior to the event.
Q: Where are the Grand Prix tickets located?
A: Your 3 day ticket has you seated at Turn 15 Section 5 in rows 28 to 31 (Right at the top of the Grandstand with incredible track views. The tickets are electronic and will be transferredto your mobile device in the week leading up to the race. You will need a smart phone with International wifi coverage, please make sure you confirm this with our travel team prior to departure.
Q: What will I need for the High Speed Ride A Long event
A: You won't require any special clothing, just comfortable clothing and shoes, which we'd recommend for the F1 day anyways.
Q: What is the PSL Hospitality Tent?
A: The PSL Hospitality tent is a covered area directly behind the turn 15 grandstand where you'll be able to relax in between races. Food and drink are available for purchase but are NOT included. Its an exclsuive perk to those who are PSL holders at the track which STT have been since the very first race in Austin.
Q: How do the track transfers work?
A: We transfer you to and fom the circuit in luxury Mercedes Benz Sprinte 15 passenger vans. many years of experience has taught us that, these particular vehicles provide the best service for our customers. We are able to drop you off right next to the front entrance which larger buses don't allow. With multiple vehicles we can ensure if anyone has to leave the track during the day we are right there to move you quickly. Finally, we can take the fastest route to and from the hotel which will mean less travel time and more enjoyment throighou the trip.
The trip includes Grandstand tickets in Turn 15, Section 5 in the high rows (the corner part of the Grandstand) which we believe are some of the best views in all of Formula 1. You pick up the cars as they head down the back straight and brake hard into turn 12, where overtaking manoeuvres are common then follow them into turns 13 and 14 until they drive right in front of you at turn 15 and then finally watch as they accelerate away into turn 16. If you’ve travelled to some of the European tracks its reminiscent of the stadium section at Hockenheim. Not just an amazing view but the tickets also include access to the exclusive PSL Hospitality tent where you'll be able to relax in between races and purchase food and drinks.
Reaching speeds of over 170mph you sit alongside a professional driver as he brakes hard into the curves of Harris Hill Raceway and then accelerates along the straights in one of the tracks list of supercars just minutes from your hotel. The experience is exhilrrating and an amazing start to your US GP trip. The track, designed by David Donovan is a 1.82 mile 11 turn asphalt road course with over 150ft of eleevation change. This intense feeling of speed will set you up perfectly as we head over to the Circuit of the Americas to see the best drivers in the world.
