Royal Ascot is the centrepiece of the British racing calendar. Held annually since 1911, the 5-day festival was the Queen's favourite event, and one that the new King is expected to open with a carriage ride along the famous finishing straight. Our Royal Ascot Experiences feature all-inclusive hospitality tickets to Tuesday (the opening day of the meeting featuring 3 group1 races) and Thursday (known as Ladies Day with the Gold Cup, the highlight of the meet). We stay in the heart of London just across the River Thames from Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. We'll also spend a day visiting Newmarket, the home of English horse racing where we'll go behind the scenes at one of Europe's top stables (meeting a champion trainer) as well as the National Horse Racing Museum.
