Day 1

Arrive into London after your overnight flight from the US. You'll be met at the airport and transfered directly to your hotel. You'll have time to relax before we head out late afternoon to Windsor Racecourse for our first event, Monday Night at the Races. Royal Windsor Racecourse is one of only 3 figure of eight courses in the country and has been hosting horse races since the 1500's. Our racing experience will be one to remember with our own private box, a 4 course meal, tea, coffee, still and sparkling water, and a visit from an expert tipster. Then its back to the hotel for a well deserved rest.

Day 2

Today is free for you to explore the wonderful city of London. See the sights including Buckingham Palace, The Tower of London or take a day trip to Windsor Castle or even the ancient Stonehenge.

Day 3

We're off to Newmarket, the home of English Horse Racing, where we'll get to watch the horses out on the famous gallops, see behind the scenes with one the country's top trainers at their yard, and tour the National Stud as well the new National Horseracing Museum. We'll finish off with a chance to meet former racehorses and learn what they do after racing, in the flagship home of Retraining of Racehorses. Don't worry about food either as we'll eat lunch in the historic Jockey Rooms where equine history has been made for centuries.

Day 4

Today is the highlight of the trip as we travel to Ascot today to be part of the biggest day's racing of the year, Ladies Day where the Gold Cup will be won. We'll leave after breakfast and arrive as the gates open. You'll have incredible all day hospitality in the Queen Anne Enclosure with a fabulous view of the day's racing, the Royal Parade as well as access to the parade ring between races. This is one the premier experiences in the English racing calendar.

Day 5

Check out of your hotel and make your way home.

Q How do I get to London and what flights should I chose?

A Firstly, you can either book your own flights, or we can book the flights for you, the choice is yours. We can quote you for any departure airport you'd like, however obviously only certain airports have direct flights into London, many airport will need to connect through major hubs. Secondly, if you are booking your own flights, most flights into London will depart in the afternoon or evening, arriving into London the following morning, so for our standard package you will need to depart on Sunday 18th June to arrive on Monday morning June 19th.

Q If I book my own Flights which airport should I arrive into?

A You should book flights that arrive into London Heathrow and depart from London Heathrow. This is the only airport we provide airport transfers to and from.

Q I want to spend more time in London, and other cities in Europe, how do I do this?

A Either email or call us and we'll provide a custom quote for you. We can provide day trips to Paris with the Eurostar (or you can stay as many nights you want in France's Capital city). If you prefer to explore more of what England has to offer then you can stay in London and we can provide sightseeing trips to places such as Stonehenge, Oxford, Bath, Shakespeare's Stratford upon Avon, Windsor Castle or even spend a day doing a Harry Potter Tour.

Q I like the idea of a day trip, when can these be arranged?

A If you want to do a day trip then we recomend adding extra nights either before or after the standard tour. If you're interested in Paris, then we definitely recommend adding this on at the end of the trip.

Q Where is the hotel located, and how do we get to Ascot?

A The hotel we have chosen, is in the perfect place in London. It is on the banks of the River Thames across Westminster Bridge from Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, and just a couple of minutes walk from the London Eye. We'll take a motorcoach from the hotel to the racecourse, which is all included in the package.

 Travel Insurance

We always recommend you take out Travel Insurance and below we've listed just some of the reasons why:

  1. Life is unpredictable. Some trips need to be cancelled.
With the right travel insurance, you won't have to pay for a trip you are unable to take.
  2. Most lost luggage takes five days to return to its owner.
Travel insurance provides coverage to replace needed items right away.
  3. Lost or forgotten medication?
Travel insurance will assist you in locating a pharmacy to purchase a new prescription.
  4. Travelers stateside and abroad can become ill or injured during their trip.
Travel insurance can provide peace of mind – especially for travel outside the United States, where many hospitals request cash payments in the thousands before treatment can even begin.
  5. Health insurance may not go the distance.
The majority of health insurance (including Medicare), worker’s compensation insurance, third-party and personal liability policies don’t cover international travel. In fact, a closer look at the inside of your passport will reveal that the government recommends travel insurance when traveling outside the United States.
  6. In the event of a natural disaster, airline strike or act of terrorism, airlines will not refund the cost of your ticket. Travel Insurance plans can cover the cost and help you get home quickly and safely.
  7. Credit card coverage, homeowners and auto insurance, none of these provide sufficient coverage for travel. Even combined, they may not offset the cost of a medical emergency overseas.
  8. In the unlikely case of supplier default. If a cruise line, airline or other travel provider ceases operations, travel insurance saves you from paying for a trip you'll really never get to take.
  9. We all experience tough economic times.
The loss of a job or other income might mean a trip planned in advance may have to wait. Travel insurance puts cash back into your hands when you need it most.
