 FAQ

Q: Are Flights Included in this package?

A: NO Flights are not included with this package; you have the option to either call us to get a quote for flights to add to this package or you can book the flights yourself.

Q: If we book flights ourselves what dates and arrival and departure times should we use?

A: Firstly, as the trip begins in Ireland you will need to book a flight departing from the US on Sunday to arrive in Dublin in the morning of Monday. Your flight should include a flight from Dublin to London Heathrow and return to the US from London Heathrow. We advise as early as possible on Monday morning to enable you to make the most of your day in Dublin. The flight from Dublin to Heathrow should depart between 10am and 1pm to give you plenty of time to get to our hotel in London for the evening welcome reception.

Q: What's the reason for arriving at the times listed above?

A: London Heathrow Airport is one of the busiest airports in the World and sometimes it can take over an hour to clear immigration and customs. It is then depending on the time of day almost 1 hour's drive from the airport to our host hotel which is located right in the heart of the city.

Q: Are transfers in Dublin and London included in the package

A: YES, we will collect you from the airport in Dublin, take you back to Dublin airport and collect you again in London. All transfers are private (unless we have multiple people arriving on the same flights and we’ll then you bus transportation) so you’ll always be met by a smiling face from a member of our staff when you enter into the arrival’s hall!!

Q: If I decide to add extra nights will you still provide airport transfers?

A: Yes, providing the extra nights are booked through us as the pricing of the transfer is built into the extra night prices. If you choose to book another hotel for the extra nights, then you will be responsible for your own journey to/from the airport. This is the same for both Dublin on your arrival and London on your departure.

Q: What time should I depart on the last day of the trip?

A: You are free to depart at any time on the final day of the trip as most flights depart London to the US in the morning, we don't schedule any activity for that final day. Breakfast begins at the hotel at 6.30am so if your flights leave early in the morning then you will miss this final meal.

Q: What time can I check into my room?

A: Check in time at the hotel is from 3pm onwards. When you arrive at the hotel in Dublin, you'll meet your tour host at our hospitality desk located in the lobby, and they will assist with the check in process. As you will arrive earlier than the check in time, the hotel will allow you to store your bags in a secure room until the room is ready, and you'll be free to start exploring the local area whilst this is being done. This same process will happen on your arrival into London.

Q: What clothes will I need for the trip?

A: Unfortunately, there is no correct answer to this question, both Ireland and London’s weather is notoriously changeable, so we recommend keeping an eye on the forecast in the days leading up to the trip, but still pack a selection of clothing as forecasters do it get it wrong! One thing that is important is that you pack comfortable shoes. Our sightseeing in Ireland and in London mean even with our fantastic Hop on Hop off Bus Tour in order to make the most of your time you'll definitely need to walk!

Q: When/how will I get my game tickets?

A: All game tickets for the games at both Tottenham and Wembley are expected to be mobile entry. You will need a cell phone with access to data (please ask your provider about international plans ahead of your trip). On arrival your tour host at the reception desk will assist you in downloading the ticket onto your phone. Please note, you will be provided with the exact location of your seat approximately 2 weeks prior to your departure, however we can only transfer your ticket when you arrive at the hotel in London.

 Travel Insurance

We always recommend you take out Travel Insurance and below we've listed just some of the reasons why:

  1. Life is unpredictable. Some trips need to be cancelled.
With the right travel insurance, you won't have to pay for a trip you are unable to take.
  2. Most lost luggage takes five days to return to its owner.
Travel insurance provides coverage to replace needed items right away.
  3. Lost or forgotten medication?
Travel insurance will assist you in locating a pharmacy to purchase a new prescription.
  4. Travelers stateside and abroad can become ill or injured during their trip.
Travel insurance can provide peace of mind – especially for travel outside the United States, where many hospitals request cash payments in the thousands before treatment can even begin.
  5. Health insurance may not go the distance.
The majority of health insurance (including Medicare), worker’s compensation insurance, third-party and personal liability policies don’t cover international travel. In fact, a closer look at the inside of your passport will reveal that the government recommends travel insurance when traveling outside the United States.
  6. In the event of a natural disaster, airline strike or act of terrorism, airlines will not refund the cost of your ticket. Travel Insurance plans can cover the cost and help you get home quickly and safely.
  7. Credit card coverage, homeowners and auto insurance, none of these provide sufficient coverage for travel. Even combined, they may not offset the cost of a medical emergency overseas.
  8. In the unlikely case of supplier default. If a cruise line, airline or other travel provider ceases operations, travel insurance saves you from paying for a trip you'll really never get to take.
  9. We all experience tough economic times.
The loss of a job or other income might mean a trip planned in advance may have to wait. Travel insurance puts cash back into your hands when you need it most.
